I'm having issues keeping my fish alive. They all seem to be dying except for

one. Can you help me? So I originally started with two goldfish. One died.
I eventually bought two more, A dalmation molly and a sunburst? I don't remember the rest of the name.
None of the three were aggressive.
Now my tank is three gallons (possible problem?) with a filter and a led light. I used a water conditioner and I have some plants in there. Plus I had a snail to help keep clean.
Oh and could I also be over feeding them?
3 died in total.

Thanks for the information, I wasn't sure since the gold fish was still alive.

As already stated, goldfish are extremely messy fish (the messiest) and require pretty big tanks for their size(at the very least, 10 gallons per goldfish). You could possibly keep a few small tetras(3-4), rasboras, or celestial pearl danios in a tank that size, but it would be pushing it. Your best bet would be a betta. I'm suggesting all of this assuming you have a heater and filter hooked up as well. If not, you shouldn't keep any fish in the tank :P.

To answer your question, it is most likely that in a tank that small your biological filtration cannot keep up with the mess the goldfish is making. Adding new fish into the mix only worsens the problem, which is most likely high ammonia and nitrite concentrations in the water. How long has your tank been set up? Is there a filter?
Overfeeding will also lead to the same issue, as the food breaks down it releases ammonia into the water.
