im having an issue with my honda it wont start if the weather is hot sobody

knows what could be the problem? my car wont start when the weather its really hot a friend of mine told me it could be the fuel pump can anyone help me please!!!
 
i think i know what it could be....(this happened to my 91' Civic) it could be your fuel pump, crankshaft sensor, or even going so far as your valve cover....i know the valve cover doesn't seem like a possibility, but on my engine i sprayed it down with red ceramic enamel for high heat and i've never had that problem since.
