E E H Guest Jun 20, 2008 #2 The 99 Cougar depreciated like crazy, so if they're asking more than $2000 for it ... move on. Otherwise, the miles are reasonable and it's an attractive car. You know the deal ... pay a mechanic to go over it with a fine toothed comb. Get a carfax report. Try and get the service records from the seller.
