So last year I was clinically depressed and I was even going to kill myself. I was going to school at this time but it was really hard for me to concentrate and I didn't participate (i didn't s peak to anyone so I didn't have friends either) I got therapy after the second semester and I was gradually doing better, I would even get A's in a few classes but I wasn't better yet. My GPA also dropped dramatically and now I have a 75% cumulative average (I don't know what that is in GPA standards but my guidance counselor told me it dropped)
My Global Teacher was recommending me for an AP class but my Guindance counselor didn't think I could handle it, even though I passed the state test with a 97%(the highest in my school). So this year I will not be taking any Ap classes but I plan on passing ever class with an A (i'm happier now and I have my head on straight) Is this a bad thing?
Also how can I make friends this year because I didn't speak to anyone last year? How do I not come off as awkard?
