Well the weather is warm and bass will be actively feeding. If you are lure fishing I recommend dark colored baits black being the best color for night fishing. I know this sounds strange and I am completely un sure of the scientific reason but a darker bait in low light does not allow light to pass through so it makes for a better outline of the bait. I recommend something along the lines of a Jitterbug, dark colored buzz bait something that adds sound. Not only can the fish see the bait but also hear it.Those few suggestions are top water baits. Artificial worm fishing is also productive at night same colors. And again i recommend adding beads to add sound to worms as well. I agree with one of the other answers as far as live bait goes minnows and also small perch are excellent live bait. If you have access and a little bit of pocket money the best live bait by far is called a water dog however they are pricey I have seen them go for as much as 2 dollars a head.
