im getting my hair done tomorrow, are highlights still in style or just hair

dying one color? i have natural light brown hair, I currently have blonde Highlights and underneath was left brown and cant decide how i should color my hair, I really don't like my natural hair color.

I was thinking of trying a copper red base with blonde highlights.

I have green eyes and im very fair skin and have freckles.

I have also thought of going completely blonde, i was naturally blonde as a little girl.
