what would be the necessary watt amp to do the trick? im pretty sure it said a 500 watt amp would be okay, but i wasnt sure, it seemed like youd need a high watt amp. thanks for the help.
The newest p315's are 600w rms.
The last version was 500w rms.
Either way a 500-600w rms amp would work well.
For the dual 2 you'd want that power at 1 ohm or 4 which gives you 2 options for an amp.
Either a 1 ohm stable mono around 500w rms at 1, or a 2 channel that bridges to around 500w at 4.
If you have the dual 4 you'd be looking for a mono thats ~500 at 2.
