im getting a cartilage piercing on my right ear but im going to camp, so shud i wait?

im going to camp in january and im getting my cartilage done next week. Should i wait after camp or shud i just get it done this week? WIll it be uncomfortabe during camp if i get it pierced? or will it heal before january?Help?!
