...he bought it from how do i get 1? He got it off ebay and the guy never sent the title then just disappeared come to find out he was running from the law. So the guy i am buying it from never got a title the police came and checked it out and said since he bought it it was his there is no money still owed on it and its not stolen the and he has all the stuff to prove it it just doesn't have a title i was just wondering how do i get one for it?
The police from the state were he got it from have contacted him and said that it is not stolen and he has all the paper work to prove it. This guy is a paster at a church and is freekin rich he just wants to sell it he bought it over a year ago and doesn't drive it much.
He only drove it to keep it running he would just drive it down the road a few times a month.
 
Go to the tag agency and tell them you need a MVR search. Take the VIN number with you.Sometimes its a pain because you have to contact the owner or who ever owned it when it was legal and have them sign over the title to you and you better hope it's not involved in any trouble ( like stolen).
 
Do NOT buy this car until, and only if he provides a clear title for it. If it was clear and so easy to get one, he would have done this already. With the background of the vehicle , I would steer clear of it. There are too many vehicles for sale that don't have title issues.
