hi i'm samantha and i was on birth control for about 14 years and i just quit using it last febuary beacuse i wanted it out of my system so that this time next year my husband and i could stat to try for a baby. about two weeks ago i had a bleeding episode that lasted exactly two weeks but it wasn't my period, it was different and my actual period was about a week prior to the bleeding episode. my periods have not changed being off the BC patch they ALWAYS come two days early or two days late and now i am five days late for the first time and i don't know what to do.. if i should wait a bit longer like wait till it's at least a week late or just test and see, i don't recall a time where i could have gotten pregnent in the last few weeks so thats why im confused...help. (oh and just so you know i did go to the doctor for the bleeding episode and he did a pap and everything and found nothing so i let it go)
I'm five days late should i wait to test?
