I've finally decided to buy myself a Jeep Wrangler. I'm looking for any advice to take into consideration while I'm shopping.
-I want a V-6
-1997-2002
-It will be my daily driver and must be reliable
-I live on a 3200 acre ranch, so of course it will be driven off road, but nothing too intense at all. I'm just talking about being able to make it across the pasture.
-I know I want a hardtop for long trips and theft concerns.
-I know how to look up fuel mileage and msn reliability ratings.
-Should I be wary of customized jeeps?
-Should I try to buy from a dealer or individual seller?
-Any particular year that you suggest or that I should avoid?
-Current jeep owners... what exactly would you look for in a jeep that fits my criteria? Any specific questions to ask or options to request?
-What is the Sahara, Cj, Yj, Tj etc?
