I'm driving with a broken coil spring on my 2002 Ford Focus?

I took it to Sears Auto Center the other day and they said it is fine to drive but try to get it fixed as soon as possible as it can cause uneven tire wear. Although they said it is fine to drive, when I make any turn (going low speed), I hear the spring popping. It sounds dangerous. Am I safe?

i never herd of anyone breaking their springs. maybe its a ford thing. look up how much the spring you need cost(just the part) and it should just take one hour to fix it. usually a shop charges around 100 per hour

You have a broken spring in your suspension system - no one in their right mind is going to reassure you that it's safe to drive.
Get it replaced as soon as possible.
