house. Anyone help? Details below.? I really don't know how to explain this except that I have to hypothetically apply to a bank for a loan for my upcoming Coffee house. I need to know just how much I need to cover the cost of the ENTIRE coffee house, meaning all the food menus and everything. Its supposed to serve lunch and cater.

Does anyone know where I would start to figure out what all I will need? and how much the appliances, menu, and such will cost?

So intimidated. Thankssss

is the purpose of the project to see who can come closer to the actual amount? or just to see who has the most developed business plan?
you didn't mention anything about retail space, but if you might want to also include the cost of a 2-3 year lease on a retail space. you can find a price by calling a local commercial agent. just find an empty building that has a "for lease" sign in the window and call the broker listed with that property. after that i would either find a local restaurant supply store or distributor online. you will find all of the equipment in no time. usually the restaurant supply will also have all the "coffee house" basics like syrup, coffee and flavorings as well as the tools necessary (blenders, display racks, coffee makers, etc). the menu is completely up to you. go to 2 coffee places (besides starbucks) and check out the food selection. take the best things you see at each location and implement them in your own store. once you get rolling, it will start to map itself out. at a restaurant supply, you'll find a lot of things you didnt even think about, so there should be a lot of inspiration there. good luck with your project.
