For english, I must present a debate (I'm affirmative). My topic is "Are we doing enough to protect the water quality of our ground water, rivers, lakes, and streams?" If you could provide a link to a website that explains what we are doing, that would be freaking awesome.
If you have any tips on debate, any help to offer with my topic, or anyting you feel might benefit me, I would love to hear it. I have never debated before (I'm in the 7th grade) and I'm not quite sure what to do or how to do it. I must present a 3 minute debate and then a one minute rebutle.I know that I have to research what we are doing to protect our water (since I'm affirmative) and be persuasive in my writing, but otherwise, I'm lost. Thank you in advance for any help!!
If you know of any groups that deal solely with protecting the quality of water, please include that info. I'm coming up with nothing from google searches and could really use tons of help. Thanks again!
