I'm debating with myself on whether to have a c-section or just go natural?

This is going to be my first delivery and the stories I've heard just scare the living crap out of me such as the vagina tearing, bad contractions, the cord being wrapped around the baby's neck and possibly choking him to death..it's just scary. I've been looking into c-section since it seems to be less painful and fast but that has its flaws as well such as a scar for life, possible infection to the scar and of course recovering from it may take a little longer than recovering from natural birth. Which one did you choose and why? thanks
My doctor said I do have the option.
I dont understand why am I getting an attitude from some of you, it's a f*cking simple question, which one did u fuc-kin choose?
