...didn't keep records..? Now, I've heard from a lot of people that you are supposed to keep transcripts. So up until this point she's been telling me that she's kept records. I believed her. Next year, I was planning on doing a volunteer program in the summer at a local hospital, but you need transcripts. When I inquired of her about them, she blatantly stated that she hadn't kept ANY records this entire time.
I want to get into a medical school, but I'm worried this will mess with my chances. Especially on graduating from high school. My grandmother told me she looked into it and that I'll have to get a GED, which I don't appreciate as an alternative. It's extremely competitive, and I'm not entirely sure if you can even get into medical school with a GED.
So my question would be: what exactly are my chances of still becoming a Doctor with this outlook?
Please, any advice on how to handle this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
