raising...? ...flour. Is the stew ruined
I accidentally coated my lamb chops in self raising flour instead of plain flour and was wondering if this is going to ruin the casserole. I have fried up the onions , added the browned meat back to the pan and covered with water which I will then slow cook for 1 1/2 hours and then add potatoes. Should I perhaps add a stock cube to thicken the stew or will it still thicken up even with the self raising flour?
