I'm considering a Honda Element...?

LOL...I am only 15, but two more years and I will be driving! Now, I am considering a Honda Element but I have heard before something about a light in the engine or something every time it reaches a mile??? Something like that...I'm not really sure, but, why is that, and if I'm wrong, what is it really?

Also, what is your opinion on it?
