The Labour spin machine is everywhere my man. the vast majority of the public are sheep. if you put something right in front of them thy belive it as gospel. Remember when the Sunday Sport ran the bomber on the moon story. I spent the best part of a week explaining to a guy at work that the story was made up. Do you know what his answer was? But it is in the paper, the paper always tells the truth. Geez, these people are an excuse for involuntary state culling.

we have a world full of problems and wars, yet people focus on a pair of shorts the 1st lady was wearing. My best guess is Yahoo has an audience of 10 year olds? It's like answers has a lot of hate spewing about. it can be disturbing, sad, but hey there is is. The dumbing down of america.

Here in the UK stories of our troops being killed fighting a war they will never win - just to help the Yanks out is everday news - sadly.

If you did loose a leg in Iraq then you should be asking yourself what did you loose it for? It certainly wasn't the reason you all thought you were going there for. It's a pity but you lost it for a lying bast*rd named Blair who should be hanged for treason.

Dumb news for dumb people? That's what the news media's of the world are all about. I seem to recall that just after 911, those ratings were quite high then dropped dramatically a few days later. proving that the public (no matter how horrific the event) does indeed have a very short intention span.

In retrospect, today's news media's are corporate owned and operated, they promote $sensationalism$ and reject all unpopular truth. Sadly, when a coalition soldier ( beloved son or daughter) is killed in the line of duty (like a police officer) the media policed by these multi-billion dollar corporations is ordered to bury the story and insert some meaningless Hollywood garbage.

After all Hannah Montana's newest love affair is far more interesting (to a great many) than some forgotten soldier or soldiers being blown to pieces over in some god forsaken desert country.

Having a go at someone because they answered your question in a way you didn't like is not on mate. You cant expect everyone to know you were in Iraq neither did we know you lost a leg, but it doesn't excuse rudeness. This is a forum for all to contribute to, it has serious and some not so serious questions and answers, it also has kids and golden oldies contributing so you will get the odd question you don't like.
