I'm building a custom home audio system from car audio.....?

I'm going to college and i decided that i want a rockin' home audio system. i have a kenwood cd player and a sony reciever. but here's the problem. the recievers minimum impedance is 8ohms. the subwoofers that I have are 4 ohm and so are the speakers. how do i rig my 3-way crossover so it makes them 8ohm?
 
subs should have only bass frequencies going to them, you should never hear vocals. my best advice would be go to a local car audio shop and inquire there. they should be able to help
