Well I posted a question a couple of days ago detailing these symptoms:
Symptoms:
1) very fast onset - under an hour
2) high fever (raging as the doctor put it)
3) headaches at the base of skull at the back
4) abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite, pain after eating
5) swollen painful groin glands on right side
6) sore right leg
7) lower back pain/discomfort, sensitive/sore skin to touch
8) can't determine if I'm hot or cold, shiver and sweat
9) lethargy
Today most of those are gone but I now sometimes have dark (brown) urine, am still tired and struggling to eat, though all in all there has been a massive improvement.
I had tests done at the doctors yesterday and today he told me my liver was in bad shape, and that I tested strongly positive for glandular fever. Thing is, after 5 days, I basically feel better. He says it's possibly very mild because I was very healthy, and wants to do more liver tests next week.
Has anyone had glandular fever with the symptoms I had, and such a swift recovery? Or does anyone know what could test like glandular fever but maybe be something else? I don't know, just can't find anything on liver problems and dark urine linked to it, I only ever had one swollen gland, and never a sore throat...
