hi right so i may as well tell you from the start, i had the contraceptive implant (in my arm) after having my little boy 15-16months ago, i had it removed in early may as me and my partner decided we wanted to try for another baby! we have been trying but not expecting too much as we both know that it can take 3 months for my body to return to normal... my last cycle was 35days long and my last period started on the 5th july, so i was there, hoping but haven't had any symptoms so expecting AF. On monday the 3rd of august i had terrible cramping, like contractions and then on saturday night the 8th of august i thought i had come on (sorry for tmi) but i just had 1 spot of brownish coloured discharge on tissue, as i was due on on sunday i was waiting for it anyway so went to bed thinking "o well not this month hey!" but sunday morning not a period in sight.... i've taken (cant remember how many) pregnancy tests but all are showing up negative, could i be late for any other reason than pregnancy, i have been very chilled this month so wont be stress and im 20 so cant be menopause! my friend just said "that spot of bleeding could well have been implantation" but considering i ovulated on the 22nd of july and had the spotting on the 8th august, isn't that a little long from ovulation till implantation? sorry about the length... any help greatly appreciated!!! thanks in advance! x
