I'm applying for MS programs in biology; what counts as "lab experience" on

assistantship apps? I have a semester of experience from my thesis work, as well as two scientific poster presentations (one in organic chem. and one for my thesis). But, when applying for assistantships, do I just put down that info., or do they want the labs I were in as part of a class that had a lab?
