Originally when I started to community college I wanted major in music, but I found it to be not the smartest decision because I have NO musical background what-so-ever. I LOVE music though, I think becoming a music composer like Nobuo Uematsu, Hans Zimmer, Jesper Kyd, and Masashi Hamauzu, would be incredible! Long story short I listened to my parents about majoring in business cause its practical and i thought (and still do) that I could find a business job close to the music field because its the only type of career that i could see myself enjoy for the rest of my life. My issue is that im not sure what to choose as my emphasis! Any advice towards this would be greatly appreciated! Especially if you do work or know someone who has a career in the music field.
I'm applying as a business major, but i dont know what to emphasize on! Interested in careers involving music!?
