im an exceptional kicker but im in a bad situiation. help?

ok so i joined football as a senior this year as a kicker and i am doing very well but the other kicker is almost neck and neck with me so therefore im stuck on jv as of right now. my stats are:
touch backs every time
40-50 yrd field goals 8/10 with a max of 60-65
punts hit 40-55 yards consistently

and i know those stats are college worthy but i cant approach a coach untill im at least varsity can I?

(btw i have to approach colleges not the other way around cause i have almost zero exsposure to any schools around the state/natioin)
 
just keep bettering yourself. If you don't win the starting spot, don't worry. You can always walk-on and eventually earn a scholarship. You can also go to a juco and eventually transfer. Just don't give up if this is something you really want to do.
