I'm addicted to chewing gum... help me break the cycle!?

I've been addicted to gum for almost 4 years. I started chewing all the time for a number of reasons. One was that my friends always had gum with them, so I did too. Another was because I developed IBS and eating made me sick a lot, so chewing gum was like compensation. I also think I developed the habit because I got bored doing homework all the time helped me concentrate.
Don't make fun of me but... I can chew 4 packs a day easily. More if I could. I think it's the act of chewing that I like. But the artificial sweeteners and preservatives are so unhealthy, and it makes me really gassy. Please give me some practical advice to quit my addiction!!
