I'm about to buy a used Ford Mustang V6. It's a 2003. The mileage is 34K. The VIN shows that it never had an accident or incident, and it only had one owner ever. I'm buying from a Nissan/Hyundai dealer. The price the dealer has given me is 9,999. I might be able to drop that to 8,999. Is this a good price and choice?? Please help!!! THANK YOU!

Also, if Ford goes out of business, will I be ok? THANK YOU!

Yes, Get the best deal you can on it. If they go out of business there are plenty of places that can fix it. And since it's a 03 there are lots of parts available. The only people that should worry is the ones that just bought the new 09 ones because those parts will be expensive to get.

I would say that's pretty reasonbale for a car like that; to be sure you're getting the best deal, though, I would ask several people who are mechanically inclined. Also, I would try to get the book value of the car--this alone will tell you if you are getting a good deal.
