My parents are a little old fasioned. I haven't even brought it up, to them, that I want to join the Navy. However, I told my (older) sister, and she kind of freaked out at me. "You're not supposed to join the Navy', that's for men". I'm going to do it with or without their support, but if there are any women sailors out there that can help me out, I'd love to listen.
