ok not really, but w/e
so i have 8 classes right?
5 out of the 8 are honors classes
5 out of 8 can be honors classes
3 out of 8 i signed up for

see my problem yet?

well if you dont- i have to many honors classes. I thought i would be able to handle 3, and i easily could. thats how many i signed up for. BUT I HAVE 5
its really annoying cause i have a lot of homework, about 2xof what i should have.
I signed up for:
honors geometry
honors biology
honors english

I didnt sign up for:
honors spanish
honors world history

I dont even know what the teacher is saying half the time because she talks in all spansh. the only reason i know whats going on is because i sit next to my friend who does know what she is saying.

and in those classes im getting :
english-b-
history-probably c
biology-b
geometry-b-(by .53 of a point)
spanish-probably a c or b

well those sound like decent grades right?
well not when you come from getting al a's in middle school

i dont even know why im writing this, i guess i just needed to ask
do you think im overworked?

o by the way im 14

So your a fresh meat... I mean freshman. Well that sucks. Talk to your principal about it. And your spanish teacher. Then kill them both. With a rusty knife. And a shard of glass. Don't forget to commit suicide right after. LOL just kidding. But try really hard to get good grades because it counts a lot. Get straight A's in high school and you'll get a good job. I only have 6 classes in my school  and I can imagine how hard it would be for me if I had 8 .

If you really don't think you can handle it now you should drop those classes, because it's only going to get much much harder later on in high school. So if you put in all the work you possibly can and still aren't getting the grades you want; it's time to drop. But before you drop, try to work harder than you ever have. This means; no TV, no Computer games, no WTF.com, no nothing except school work, and if that doesn't work, then drop the classes. Good luck

My school told me that I had to take Spanish if I wanted to stay on the honors or recommended. After they told me that, I told my Spanish teacher,
"If God wanted me to speak Spanish, he would have made me Mexican."

Well. When I was in 11th grade I was all out - I had a job, I had band, I had JROTC, I had 2 or 3 honors classes (forget now), and I babysat 2x a week for a friend of my mom's and had to scrub her house from top to bottom after her kid went to sleep. Think I had a total of 7 classes back then? Damn it's been a while.

Almost failed that year with all the shit I was into.

So what I am trying to say is- Pick what you like and excel at it. Don't overload yourself and end up overwhelmed.

I have 4 classes every day. It fucking rules.

Too bad for your mistfortune, just gotta do it and get it out of the way. Ha. Freshman. lolz.. I remeber when I had to go to school with my lucky soap on the rope.

All i can say is what a fucking school is this?

you MUST take spanish ?? whats that for a crap ??

yo soi el capitan !!

whatever ! man don't overload yourself drop classes you think you can handle and if this doesn't work , man than you gotta trie real hard to pass with good grades !

That's craziness. 8 classes? We have 6 here and we don't have honor classes. Except advanced math, Algebra II. But that's not really "honor."
I like being a freshman here because the schools are all screwed up. I go to an 8-9 center and then there is a 10-12 high school where there are 5 periods.
I agree with the other people, if it's too hard for you, you should just drop the classes.

I say suck it up and buckle down, your only 14, if you can keep those classes up for the next two years. by the time you get to the years that count, you would have become accustomed to the workload...

When I was a freshman I had the option of taking 6, or 8 classes. Obviously I opted for 6. I was also offered some honors classes in the mix...as a freshman te transition into high school is too much for you to have to worry about stuff such as honors classes.

If I were you I would go talk to my guidance counsleor and see if it were at all possible to drop them down to the next level. It still looks good on your transcript if you take the (in my high school the were called...) Advanced classes, but there not as much of a work load as the honors or AP classes. Think about it...you have too much to worry about, making friends, what high school is all about, what's going on, clubs, sports...too much. See if you can lighten the load there a little bit my man

TOO TRUE... 8 classes!? are you taking 0 period AND 7th period!? ok... heres my theory and its worked so far: 9th & 10th grade = have fun. 11th & 12th = work. i may have gotten some far below average grades in 9th & 10th, but i had fun!

8 classes?
That's hella stupid!
I bet your day feels pretty damn long.

Well.. it's a tradition.
You'd be suprised though, not too many freshmen actually get shoved in lockers.
Just don't be a douche, and I think you'll be alright.

really being a freshman is not that bad...but on the topic of your classes. talk to your counciler (fuck i cant spell counciler...im tired) about it. why you have 8 classes...holy shit but...just tell him "mr (insert name here) i really am struggling with my honors classes and i know schools a struggle for everyone but its just gonna get harder and harder and i feel stressed and overworked and i really really need to rest a little so if i could drop just 2 honors classes then that would hepl me out alot"

and honestly...i actually have ADD but what would hepl is if you tell them you have it...so they do what they can to make sure your not a distraction and you can focus and shit.
