self-image problem? I think my thighs, arms, calf's, breast 34 A, waist are all too big.
I weigh my self 8-15 times a day. The number stays the same but I think I get bigger everyday. I'm afraid of gaining weignt. I also see a psychiatrist for anxiety and depression. I take meds for my illness. I think losing weight will make me a happier person. When I look at girls the same height and weight as I am I don't consider them big, but I consider myself. Everyday I research new diets. I walk on my treadmill for 20 mins a day. I also have been on extreme diets. Do I have a self-image problem.

Yes it really sounds like you do have a body image problem. And if you don't get help now it will probably turn into a full blown eating disorder. Trust me you don't want that.

You need to tell your psychiatrist what you just told us. The weighing several times a day, fear of gaining weight and researching diets all point to an unhealthy obsession. Your doctor needs to help you work through this before it does lead to an eating disorder.

I'm sorry to hear of your struggle. May I suggest seeing a counsellor if you aren't already. Take care.
