i'm 16 and i've never had hot flashes?

okay so i think i'm about a week late with my period and this is gonna sound super gross but i've been having this brownish discharge. i looked it up and the internet said it's probably just blood tinted from my period. but i've NEVER had this happen before. and i've been having these weird hot flashes. they're terrible. i'll start sweating and it's super gross and then i'll feel normal and then hot and then... well you get it. has anyone ever experienced this? am i pregnant? or am i just weird? orrr what? idk i'm confused
 
the brownish discharge is unfortunately totally normal. i get it after every period and it's really annoying and gross.
however, i'm not so sure what's going on with your hot flashes. they could be anxiety attacks. either way, check with your doc, love.
