I'm 15 and was diagnosed with pre diabetes so can someone fill in the details?

I have a few questions like what are the ranges of glucose levels from low, normal, high, and extremely high. And maybe a couple tricks on how to raise and lower my levels as needed. Thanks for all the help

Normal ranges are between 70-99
right after eating anything under 120 is good and it should lower within an hour back to normal ranges

Low: under 70
dangerously low: under 40
High: Over 200
Dangerously high (near fatal limits): over 600

My husband is a diabetic, that's how I know this. If you find your level is too low, drink some water with sugar or anything with sugar. Fruit is very good for this too, like grapes, pineapple, oranges, bananas, etc.

If it is too high, you control this through insulin injections. My husband has to do this every night. Its not bad. His has risen to over 600 and it has scared me to death. If your level drops too low, you'll know it. You'll get weak, tremble, dizzy, etc. Too high, you'll have blurry vision, constant thirst, body temp around 35ºC and you will probably experience rapid weight loss with frequent urination.

Best advice, meet with a diabetes specialist and set up a plan to control it. Its more or less easy to control but if you aren't always conscious it can be dangerous. You gotta watch your diet.

Any other questions, email me. Good luck
