if i'm trying to become an? OB/GYN? i'm going to a commiunity college first, and i was told that i should have a medical technician major, but i'm not too sure
i know. i'm not stopping after i go to community college; i know i'm going to have to have more school than just that, i just want to know what courses to take so i can transfer

obgyn means going to medical school. Generally, those going into medical school major in Biology which should cover all the prereqs that you need.

To be an OB/GYN, you will eventually go through medical school, internship, and residency. This is after completion of your undergraduate degree.

I know physicians whose undergraduate degrees were in fields as diverse as engineering or comparative literature. There are pre-med degree programs offered by some universities, but I think they are of limited value - what happens if you decide to forgo med school?.

Have you considered a degree in physiology? That certainly is a logical area of study. You also might wish to consider chemistry and bio-chem as undergraduate degree fields. These are all degrees that you can use in your career if you eventually decide against med school.
