...the filler cap while running? I just did a LIM job and change the oil pump shaft gasket while at it. I've run the engine now a few times, taken it for a short drive, etc. and no problems, noises, or lights. So at idle I took off the oil filler cap and looked in and can see the valves opening, but no oil flowing where I would expect there to be. Is this expected on an OHV engine? Or does that sound like an oil flow problem?
I checked my wife's Malibu with a 3.1 and it looks like it does the same thing. Just me being paranoid. I normally do stuff with OHC, pushrods are "new" to me. Thanks!
