If you're under the age of 18, do you have to attend the Canadian citizenship test?

I'm under 18 and I'm under my parents. Is it mandatory that I go and attend the citizenship test? Even thought I'm not taking it? This is kind of worrying me because I have school the day my family takes the test and I don't want to miss anything. Moreover, it's really hard to catch up nowadays. Grade 11 is getting more and more intense.
