...warming is happening? For any reason--human or natural causes?

Last week, we Minnesotans "enjoyed" 25 below zero temps straight up and 45 below zero wind chill. Schools were closed, not due to snow, but due to severe cold. Too dangerous to let little kids wait outside for the bus.
Marvin, you must be from the Iron Range [shiver].

Isn't that back when all scientists said we were on the verge of a new ice age? I think they got it right back then. I sense the movement of glaciers in Minnesota's direction, ready to gouge out several more thousands of lakes.
 
When I was a boy I delivered papers in Minnesota. We had one morning, I kid you not, the wind chill was 98 below. You couldn't dress warm enough to be out in that environment. That was around 1969, so here 40 years later it's only 45 below. That's quite a rise. Must be global warming. ;)
 
That is weather, but the prevalence of this kind of extremely cold weather all over the world is an indicator of "climate."

And I'm really happy I left Minnesota for a warmer climate.
