Tell me about it...

Not only are they erabarrasing but annoying has well. Uh, I hate having to deal with the acne scars left behind after the blemishs has gone away. Before I was using Neutrogena advanced solutions--the acne mark fading peel. It works perfect but it wasn't what I was looking for to get all of it gone. Now I'm using Hydroquinone USp, 4%- skin Bleaching Cream from Glades to even my skin tone. It works, but I need something else, anyone pls help me.
Um...does anyone know how to get rid of blackheaRAB from forming.

i just got some in the mail hopeticmistic.ok spots r not scars.im talking about indent and basicly damaged skin from acne.mine r light but very hard to get rid of.i think over 6000 dollars of scar repair treatment has helped a little but not much.there is not any pill that is going to help me socially.i have been on paxil, klonipin, vivactal, celexa, valium, ect, ect.its like please god take me away from this.i was raised really conservativly so i i cant kill myself but if i happen to die from bloodclotting at least it will be quick.the worse part is is being ashamed how u look and being alone.i just hate to leave the house anymore.

Joeh,

I am sure you will be so much happier by the New Year. Just make sure that part of your new year resoultion includes thanking God for helping you find a way to resolve the problem.

My skin was like you describe. I was amongst 5% of the visible population that tries to hide away from the rest, trying to avoid eye contact for some years, but having no choice but to live right smack bang in the middle of people! I had to try to get over this attitude of feeling inferior.

Now, I can walk around town feeling like an averge person, part of the crowd, not standing out as such. That's all I ever wish to be; I don't want to be exceptionally stunningly hanRABome, just your average guy who fits in with the rest of normal humanity.

All the Best.

A topical alpha-lipoic acid along with DMAE and vitamin E might help those scars. You can find this stuff on the internet at American Nutrition.

I noticed that there haven't been many recent postings - but reading BlueGreen's message reminded me so much about my own situation...I too didn't/don't have terrible acne, but obsess over anything that I can feel under my skin (so usually they're not even visible!), and then of course I abuse my face and turn something that was hardly even there into a disaster. I was lucky in that I would always heal up quite nicely, without much of a scar - until 2 years ago...i made such a mess that the spot got infected, I developed cellulitis in the surrounding area...and to make matters worse, it scarred quite deeply...I was so distraught over what I had done to myself, yet I didn't stop...and 2 years later I have 2 more, albeit smaller, scars around the same area as the original massacre...and have had cellulitis about 5 more times on the same side...I'm 25, and instead of enjoying myself like I used to, I am so self-conscious that I rarely go out a night, and can feel myself becoming more and more depressed over what a mess I have made. I have tried every medication (excluding accutane), and they obviously have done nothing for the scars...I tried chemical peels, but they haven't done much, aside from encourage my already dry skin to peel and be red...to sum up a very long post, I was wondering if anyone has had any success with lasers/or anything else...in particular, I was wondering if BlueGreen has had any luck, now that it's 4 years later from their last post....thanks!!!!!

Hi Urber,

I have the same type of scars and I was wondering how often you do the microdermabrasion, i have been using lemon juice then rubbing a measured amount baking soda and filtered water on my face, it seems to be working but i'm not sure how often to do it... Any info would help.. Thanx
