...you argue and why? i have a research paper due real soon about cost of college, any idea what i can argue about? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might look at the average cost of college over time, and you should see a great increase in the last 10-20 years. You might compare the cost to the value of the education received (hard to put a price on), and to the value of the degree earned (as far as difference in salary with or without the degree). You might mention the debt many students get into to pay for school, and how long that often takes to pay off, even with a degree-requiring job (and the interest costs), and the amount of stress involved in dealing with student debt.

When you write an argumentative essay you're either arguing for or against the topic. So, you should probably decide whether you're going to argue that the cost of college is good or bad. Then find evidence.

I would argue that college isn't worth one tenth of what it costs to go, whether you measure that in time spent, money spent, or earning capacity after you graduate. Also that college offers no real, innate learning experience. The student either learns, or doesn't, entirely on his own. And I'm a three time university graduate, now retired. God Bless you.
