If your DH/SO could post a rant about you right now, what would he say?

Betwixt and Between

Guest
I just answered one of those "What does your husband do while caring for baby that drives you nuts?" questions, that I am guilty of asking a few of myself. I thought, man, he would love an opportunity to go off about me like this, which brought me to ask this question.

I know for a fact that he would complain that I don't ask for help when I need it. I am stubborn, he will tell you. Or, worse, I will ask him for help, then do it myself anyway, and complain that he didn't help me. He would also complain that I am not overly worried about germs and sterilizing things. Finally, he HATES the way I carry the car seat. He says it always looks like I am about to drop it. I have a bad leg, and it causes me to walk funny when I carry heavy things. I'm in no danger of dropping our son, but I can see how it might look like that to him.

So, if your DH/SO logged on here and answered a question where he could rant about your ways, what would he say? Be honest!!

pretty much all what you said but the car seat thing.....he hates that i fix to much in his bottle and he does not take it all....he hates that i wake him up to feed briggs and he has something to do early in the a.m and when he has nothing to do i don't ask him..but really i don't do it on purpose,,,,but whatever

I am glad my question provoked this one. It makes me look at the other side. My husband would say many many things.

He would say that I am stubborn as well.

He says that I should be pumping at work 3-4 times a day. I will pump at lunch and only if engorged again (mind you I am still pumping more than my son can eat in a day).

He would say that I am the overprotective one. He once put a dead cicada carcass on our son's bib when I wasn't looking to freak me out. He says he wonders what I will do when he brings bugs and snakes and frogs home as pets. I guess I would deal with that when the time comes, but gross a dead bug carcass.

He also says that I am way to protective of our son from the sun. I always have him wear a hat and sunglasses when he is outside for a little bit. I kind of think that I would rather be overprotective of this than have a 4 month old with a sunburn.

He also gets upset when I will leave our son sleeping in the car with the air on when I bring in the diaper bag and other things. It is just moments mind you, but he would rather have him in the house first.
