If your a wittiness in a armed robbery and dont show up to the hearing will u do

jail time? okay i was 17 years old at the time im 19 now. my ex boyfriend came in the house w a gun and robbed the guy i was seeing at the time. they sent me a letter that i had to go to court to be a wittiness. i didn't go will i serve jail time. how long would i go to jail if i do have to do jail time.
Additional Details
the reason why i didn't go to court is because my ex boyfriend was in a gang...and i knew what he would do to me if i said it was him..i was only 17 i was scarred for my life and have no criminal record at all


oh and this happened two years ago and ive moved since and do not know if i have a warrant or anything. ive never been to jail! i dont belong there i was just scared for my life


i was not the only one that didn't show up either. the guy that was robbed did not show up either.
 
He saved you I guess. I think they would have summoned you by now if they were doing anything about it.

You don't seem to have the temperament to fight such people but we all should. So long as they get away with that stuff they will continue. They should understand when we get sick enough of them we will come through and leave all of them as tree and light post ornaments.
 
You can't just ignore a summons. If you have a fear of testifying, you go to the DA. More than likely there's a bench warrant out for your arrest by now.
