Have question about birthcontrol and effect on heart. If your a nurse,doctor,obgyn..please opinion needed !!?
So I am 20 years old and I started taking birthcontrol about 2 years ago.
I started with Ortho tryclen low (low birthcontrol) I was fine but extremely moody
I then started Reclipsen (regular dose/not low dose) then I started fine but after about 10 months after I started getting heart palpitations here and there.
I switched to Microgestin (Three months ago/ It is a lowdose birthcontrol) and I still have the heart palpitations (Four years ago however I had a EKG and was diagnosed with exaggerated sinus arrthymia-which the doctor said was normal and did not need further exams or anything)
-My question is do you think my birthcontrol is affecting my sinus arrthymia...and why after 2 years ...or could it be something else? I just want your opinion I already have made an appointment to see my obgyn and cardiologist but it's in a month from now and I just kind of want opinions particularly from someone who is a nurse or is familiar with this. Thank you so much
ps. Should I try an ultra-low birthcontrol and if so which one? What if I try the patch but I think I heard it has more hormones...I have to go to get my birthcontrol tomorrow since I finished my last pack and want to consider taking something that might me lower ...and then when I go to my dr. next month I will tell him how the new birthcontrol pill went and if I still have the palpitations ill have him recommend me something else.
-A little about:
1.I dont really do any exercise as I should
2.The only medication I am taking at the momment is Microgestin low dose 1/20FE
3.In total between the 2 years I have only taken 3 different birthcontrols and while taking the 2nd birthcontrol which was high I started getting palpitations..I went on a low and still have them.
4. I have exaggerated sinus arrthymia (my dr. said 4 years ago but that it was normal)
5.Usually I get my palpitations during rest..especially laying down
ANY ADVICE OR KNOWLEDGE TOWARDS THIS WOULD BE GREAT..I AM STILL going to the doctor but I am just very curious and I have to wait an entire month..so for now I just want someone who knows about this or is studying this to perhaps explain to me...or give me a slight recommendation. Thank you

one more thing I forgot to meantion is that I have my palpitations here and there sometimes it last almost the hold day (there not strong but just strange and feels like a little abnormal heart beat..when im busy I don't really notice it as much but when I lay down its easier for me to feel kind of a abnormal palpiatiations) I don't know if is the pill because even when im in the sugar pills/placebo pills and im on my period I still have the palpitations. Once again thank you for anyone responding I really appreciate your comments and opinions
