My birth control failed after I'd already had a child with severe impairments. The child I carried had a 65% chance of being born with the same problem. I didn't abort. Having more kids than we could handle led directly to our divorce. I love my child, but I would have been better off aborting.

It's legal and available. If you think it's your best choice, you should do it. If you know you can't do this on your own, be honest with yourself. Many people try to make abortion a huge moral issue, but having a child you can't cope with is the true moral issue. Use better birth control after, like Depo-Provera shots, or something permanent if possible.

if you are saying: that if times were hard and you got pregnant would I have the child aborted........
my answer is NO. children are a blessing, I grew up poor and it didnt seem to affect me and all the pioneers grew up poor and they became legends so.........what the hell, life is hard, get used to it
right?
 
You're asking people for their opinions on a very sensitive issue - don't be surprised if you recieve some very harsh answers. Personally I would not abort a child simply because times were tough - I would make sure that birth control was used religiously if pregnancy wasn't an option. That being said, birth control fails - nothing is 100% except not having sex at all. It can be nice to have other peoples opinions but you need to make this decision based on your own feelings and no one else's as it's you who will have to live with the decision. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide.
 
Really sorry to hear that you are not in a good place right now.
First if you are only just coping with what life dishes out, how would you cope with a child who needs you 24/7?
Why have a child with someone who is a waste of time? Will he help you when the child is born.....erm NO!!
You should dump him and sadly you know the rest. Life is too short to spend it with a waste of space. Find your self a caring man who will make all your problems go away!

grow up and take responsibility for your actions

get rid of the WASTE of time, get a job and take care of your kids

thats what you need to be doing
