If you were to choose a car:: Cadillac or Mustang?

here is the deal the 2008 cadillac cts with the direct injected v6 puts out 304HP and 273Torque and is 3874lbs (its a fatty) and you will get abut 20MPG average. cadillac claims it will do 0-60 in 5.9 but it may be more like 6.3 (depending on road conditions and driver) and will put up a .87g on the lateral. and hey it was the 2008 motortrend car of the year you cant argue with that. the mustang has 300HP and 330Torque and is 3356LBS so naturally its going to be faster and handle better (though im not sure about the handling part i have heard from people they Handel like crap.) but its a ford and they are ugly and if you get a automatic trans. then look forward to replacing it a lot. but if your into Performance and like the looks of the mustang going purely from a Performance view but if you want a good combo of luxury andPerformancee then go with the cadillac plus you will get way better MPG on the highway.
 
I would take any year Mustang before I would select a Cadillac.
Even a Mustang II 2.3!
Of course if you want to give me one, I will take a Roush prepped one!
To me a Cadillac is a land yacht and not a car. I want something to drive not to cruise in.

American luxury and performance.

Mustang has poor resale value and some performance and bad quality.
 
If your talking about the new CTS than yes i would defiantly go with the CTS. The new Mustang is nice but the CTS will do circles around it on the track plus it looks better.
 
need to be more spefic. what year mustang? regular or v8 or cobra. and also same with cadillac. what year and model? but if i had to pick i'd go with cadillac just cuz its got class and its known to be somewhat a rich persons car. too many people have mustangs. the mustang has to be the shelby gt 500 or cobra for me to pick it over the cadillac
