What would you tell the Judge when he asked you "Why did you write those things which are lies and then post them for the world to see?" Would you tell him he's wrong and he doesn't know what he's talking about? Would you have the same attitude that you have towards some people online?

Well, you could follow many a good politician's lead and just claim that you didn't know it was false when you wrote it.
You could also be honest and just tell him that Y!A is an anonymous forum, and you got carried away.
