you then drink a gallon of water? I saw this DVD called "Touching the Void." A true story. This mountain climber is dragging his partner down. So his partner cuts the rope and he falls. Then he gets stuck in a cave, and is hanging by a rope. So he cuts the rope and falls. By a miracle, the cave leads out of the mountain. He then has to climb down the mountain, alone with a broken leg. He goes three days without water. Then finally almost down the mountain, he finds water. He claimed he drank a gallon right then and there. How could you drink a gallon of water on the spot? Isn't your stomach the size of your fist, or something like that? I am five foot four and 118 pounds. I am trying to imagine drinking a gallon of water non stop. If you were dying of thirst, would your body find a way to route the water right through your stomach and directly into your intestines? I belong to a soccer league and we will play in hot Los Angeles weather in the Summer, and I will drink a gallon, but a cup or a pint at a time. We once played at a competition in Las Vegas and it was sizzling hot, and I think the most I drank at one time was almost a quart of water. And actually, the Las Vegas locals were saying that in the 112 degree weather we were playing in, you needed to drink something with electrolytes in it, or you would faint. Do you think the guy was exaggerating when he said he drank a gallon all at once or can some people do that?
