...would he do, and how would he react..? K, my boyfriend doesnt drive...so I let him drive my car, with my in the passenger seat, so he can get practice before he takes his road test. He jokes around and asks me " What would you do if I took off in your car for a while, like 5 minutes.." Well I replied that I would call the police( i was joking) but he didnt think I was because I said it without hesitation. He took offense to this, and said he will never touch my keys again. Idk if this has anything to do with this, but my boyfriend is black, and I am white. I think this is a racial thing. And he was saying that a black girl would never have said what I said, that white girl are scary sometimes. And I took offense to that. I told him how I felt, that he was being rediculous, and childish. He got out of my car, and walked away back to his room, and obviously didnt want to talk to me, so I left and went home, I picked him up this morning, because we were helping my family with something, but he didnt say not one word to me, and when I tried to ask him whats going on, he said that he didnt have anything to say. And he still hasnt talked to me since I dropped him off at 4.
My question is to both girls and guys, is what is your opinion about all of this. And what would you do, or react in a situation like this. I apologized to him if I hurt his feelings, and let him know that I was joking...I dont like fighting with him, I love him, but I feel like this is taken way out of porportion. I even tried making amends yesterday, after I sat in thought for a bit, but he didnt want me to bother him
