I remember well how our beloved Mayor Wilson Goode (D) bankrupt Philly by taxing the business owners out of the city in the 80s.

I will vote for anyone other than a leftist-leaning Democrat whose sole goal is to redistribute the wealth (everyone's but theirs, that is) which is elitism.
2010 and 2012 cannot get here soon enough!

Assuming I have to pick between a Democrat or a Republican and the only issue I care about is business and the economy, I would have to go with the Republican, as I hope he would be fiscally conservative. Of course, that has seemed to be untrue as of late.

It would depend on who the candidate was in each party and what their platforms were.Usually I look at third parties before the major ones though.
