it was a tv thing i seen tonight... 4 accounts of aggrivated driving offences:

under the incluence of alcohol
driving to evade arrest
driving whilst disgualified
driving outwith the speed limit

also. Grevious bodily harm to himself and 2 passengers.

to you and me... thats drunk and doin 80 away from the police around a corner... rolled the car 5 or 6 times which threw 1 passenger through the window and himself into the.. back seat... they didnt die...

i dont wanna hear how your not a judge... juuust.. estimate... if it was you with these charges what do you suppose you would get =]... is it just over 1 year? o_O

I would put the driver in jail for 12 months, and probation for 5 years. Depending on how his probation, I may let him go early, extend his probation, or throw him back in jail.

I think 15 years and about $50.000 restitution to the passenger
then fine him for having the cops waste their gas chasing this dumbass.

3000 dollar fine, SR22 insurance coverage for the next 10 years and 3 years jail time and 5 years probation, an alcohol/drug abuse assessment and treatment on an inpatient basis with counseling to follow for entire jail term and probation.
