If you walk through the metal detectors with a G1 (t-mobile phone) will it go off?

It's because my school checks your stuff while you walk through a metal detector. and if you beep you have a certain number of times to go through again or they check you with a hand held metal detector. And there's teachers checking your stuff too, and if they find cell phones, iPod, and whatever electronics, they take it up. I just want to know if my G1 will beep. :/
