If you use two sources by the same author, do you cite them a second time in a

work cited page? In an MLA-format work cited page, supposing you have two works by the same author (and considering work cited pages are alphabetized), do you list the author's name the second time or do you just do something like this:
-----, which is supposed to indicate see above.

The reason I ask is my friend asked me to check his work cited page and he had done it and for the first time on my work cited page I had used two books by the same author. Since I have never heard of such rule, I didn't want to take any chances. At the same time, he might be right, so I just want to make sure. And please excuse my rambling.
